From the moment I had interest in Brians place he responded and answered all questions I had. This home is the cutest place weve ever stayed at. I kind of felt like I was on a movie set :) the original historic look is still present. Location was beyond perfect we walked every where and used the rent bikes on the street. Uber was so easily accessible and cheap. Parking wasn;t an issue for me. The house was super clean, linens were very comfortable, bed was cozy, kitchen and bathroom super up to date to perfection. I loved the fact that the bedroom upstairs had no tv just my personal opinion. The backyard was adorable, it was a bit chilly so I didn;t get to use it to sit and have morning coffee. Theres nothing negative I can say about my stay at Brians place. I cant wait to come back to visit and stay again!!! Thank you again Brian for making my visit to DC exceptional.

Brian was the most attentive, considerate host I've ever had. Yet he somehow he managed to never impose. He was nothing short of professional and offered nothing less than the best service. The accommodations were everything one could hope. Nestled in the scenic neighborhood of Capitol Hill - a quiet, tree-lined, historic refuge from the city - the carriage house has been pristinely maintained and is decorated exquisitely. Not to mention it has a lovely small kitchen and a cozy private courtyard in the back. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. In fact, I'm sorry my conference ended and I had to leave.

This historic tiny house on Capitol Hill has an unbeatable location, and offers fantastic convenience for business travelers and leisure travelers alike, particularly anyone going to the Library of Congress. It's a nicely maintained historic space, with good spaces to sleep, eat, cook, relax, and work; the desk upstairs is especially nice for the latter. Laundry, dishwasher, and a very functional kitchen would make it great for longer stays. And the back patio is a great place for a morning cup of coffee in nice weather. Brian made check-in and check-out exceptionally easy, and the few things I needed to communicate with them about were handled lightning fast.

Every morning as soon as we walked out of the alleyway and onto E. Capitol St, I started off my morning by saying I can't believe how awesome the location of this apartment is! The very first thing you see before your eyes two blocks ahead of you is the Capitol!!! I don't even think there is any hotel that is available closer to the Capitol then this apartment is. A short walk away is Starbucks. On your way to the Capitol you will also pass the Supreme Court and the Library of Congress. Five minutes in another direction and to the right of the Capitol and you will arrive at the three Senate buildings which is really fun to explore because there are lots of opportunities to see Senators. 10-15 minutes to the left of the capital you will find the House buildings. Arrange with your member of Congress to get a tour. We had to take a taxi to the White House because it would have been probably at least an hour walk and it was 95° out. When you walk into the apartment there is a small living room with a tv and beyond that is a small eat in kitchen and after that was a cute tiny outdoor patio. It was very exciting watching CNN in the living room and if we saw something exciting happening at the Capitol, we could run right over and be there in five minutes. Upstairs is a bedroom with a bathroom, except no TV. That's the one thing I would add but it was ok because I could watch tv on my phone. The apartment was PERFECT for my husband and I. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to DC . I have never written a review before and we have rented so many houses but the location of this one really took my breath away! It was cool staying on Capitol Hill where a lot of senators and congressmen live I felt like I was a part of them!

Brian's carraige house proved an even better place to stay than I expected. The space is clean and comfortable. It is in a very quiet area and very convenient to all points in and around DC. Only a 10 minute walk to the Metro and Union Station. There are small, well stocked markets just a block and a half away and numerous good restaurants in the vicinity. As a base for work or to see the sites in DC I can't think of a better place. I would not hesitate to stay there again on my next DC trip.

Great location and cute home! Located less than 5 mins from the Capitol it was a perfect location for our quick weekend getaway. There is a grocery store and great restaurants within walking distance we didn’t have to drive during our stay. Place had everything we needed and having a private fenced in patio was perfect for our pups. Will stay here again next time we are in town!

Charming little getaway ideally located - a hundred feet out the door and you get an amazing street view of the Capitol! It had great historical appeal and was very quiet and cozy. The private little patio out back was a wonderful place to unwind after a busy day of touring or for sitting around having morning coffee. The place is within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and convenience stores. A bike-share station was less than a block away. It was super easy to get around. We would definitely stay here again.Brian (and staff) were very informative and responsive and made our rental experience quick and easy.

Brian's Tiny House was in a safe and great location. Walking distance to many things. The space was wonderful and the kitchen was well equipped. We were very comfortable for our long term stay. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful historic building in a great location. Brian's check-in process and communication was superb, and he was very accommodating. His emails and the instructions in the apartment told me everything I needed to know about the house (cable, wifi instructions etc) and the surrounding area. A gem of a house and professional service.

This is a very charming and comfortable place to stay. Brian makes it easy with his check-in check-out process. There is plenty of cookware and dishes to make meals, and a nice quiet patio in the back. Great location, plenty of things to walk to as well as union station. A wonderful quiet retreat in the city.
