Brian’s townhome in Capitol Hill is super close to everything you’d want to see and do in D.C. And it’s across the street from a picturesque park! He’s filled his home with beautiful furniture and historic pictures and political cartoons that will pique your interest in every room! If you want to spend time in D.C., I highly recommend a stay with Brian!

We can’t say one bad thing about Brian’s home! The location is great, the size is perfect & it includes all the essential amenities. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

Brian's home was the perfect location for our week in the district. Just blocks away from the capitol, 9 minute walk to Union Station and an easy 20 minute stroll to the National Mall. Beautiful historic TH directly across from Stanton Park in a very safe and walkable neighborhood. Brian's home is filled with very unique antique treasures and the updated kitchen is the perfect place to create your next culinary delight. Don't miss the shopping opportunity at Eastern Market (I bought some beautiful scarves) and be sure to see what's on stage at Ford's Theatre and the National Theatre - easy walk to both.

So much better than pictures! Lots of windows, light, and space. The historic house is on 3 floors, with the master/king bedroom, master bath, a double bedroom, and sitting room on top. For some, 2 flights of stairs could be an issue for was great for our group as we could put the kids upstairs with us & grandma on the 2nd floor with her own bathroom & adjoining TV room. In addition to bedrooms, bathrooms & sitting rooms on the 2nd & 3rd floors, on the 1st floor there is a modern kitchen, laundry, half-bath, full dining room, and another large living room! It’s HUGE. From online pics I thought it might be a bit dark and dated. On the contrary, tons of windows & interesting decor. We were picking. up my son after a semester with the US Senate Page Program. His dorm was directly across the street, which made moving 5 months worth of our teenager’s random accumulations super easy. In fact, we learned that the home’s original owners ran the funeral home that became the Page’s dorm. Brian was great, responsive and allowed us to leave our bags at the house for a late check out. After hours/self check in was easy and well-explained. While there is a dedicated parking space at the house (a rarity on Capitol Hill), a car is really unnecessary. Union Station (the DC Metro/Subway), is just a few blocks away. We were close enough to the Metro that my 78 yr old (fit) mother easily walked from Union Station, while pulling her carry on luggage. Besides the proximity to Union Station, you are just a few blocks from the Capitol. Senate office buildings are within a 5 minute walk. Lots of restaurants, grocery, etc are steps away. Couldn’t have asked for more!

We will definitely be staying at this house in the future. Excellent location, big and beautiful house with all the amenities you need. Communication with the host was easy! We really lucked out with this house. What a bargain! Can't say enough positive things. Book now if it's available and you will not regret it.

Brian's place is fantastic! While we didn't meet in person, check-in and out was easy. The place is perfectly located and houses 6 very comfortably, with lots of different sitting rooms so everyone has their own space. The house is walking distance to the capitol and much better value than hotels in the area. We also really appreciated the great kitchen and plenty of towels/blankets etc.

As a world traveler. I stay in lots of different places. This is one of the best as far as location, accommodation, and helpfulness from the owners I think I have been to. Book this incredibly awesome accommodation now!

We visited Washington as tourists with family, and this house exceeded our expectations. It's an impressive historic 3-story townhouse close to Capitol. Location was perfect! The neighbourhood is quiet, and close to everything. We liked that we could get around everywhere by walking, and still we were away form the city noise. Space: it's nicely decorated and spacious. There is common space, as well as 3 bedrooms for personal space. It gives you a homely feel, I personally liked the books collection on the 2nd floor :). Highly recommended.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It is in a wonderful location that is convenient to D.C. Sites and in a charming quiet neighborhood. The owner is very responsive and provides a charming and spacious historical townhouse. We will definitely rent this place again next time we are in D.C.!

Great place, convenient location and everything was in order. Brian was great to work with and super responsive. The real plus was having a parking spot. Some of the places we have stayed did not and it cost us an extra $40 per day in the garage! So, we liked this place. Great place to crash after working downtown all day.

There was not one thing lacking in this townhome. Home was more space than I expected. All 3 beds were very comfortable, nice bedding & pillows. Set up for a little privacy in each bedroom. The home has beautiful traditional/transitional decor with neat antique conversation pieces & great books. Home is easy to get to Union Station, Metro bus, and an easy walk to the Capital, Senate Offices, & Library of Congress, etc. Good restaurants within walking distance. Small grocery store is a close walk. Nice safe neighborhood. Price is very reasonable & better than many with less space. Brian responded quickly for what little we needed. Home is well set up. Only thing that would be awesome is bicycles. But that is an expense & liability. We found a place to rent bicycles for the week on our last day. We will be back.

We stayed at Brian’s place over spring break and the house was amazing !!! The house is very spacious and absolutely gorgeous. It’s close to all the DC sites (especially Supreme Court), walking distance to the metro, and a short uber ride to other areas of DC like Adams Morgan or Georgetown. Brian was so quick to respond to all our questions and even accommodated our early arrival! I would definitely stay here again !

Fantastic stay in DC. Great one for an introduction to the kids. We used all three levels constatnly and it kept a family of 6 from living on top of one another all week. It was absolutely perfect.

The house was light and airy. It is a historic home with all the beautiful architectural details. Brian and Luis were helpful and responded quickly to my texts. The location is amazing, close to the Capitol and several restaurants. There are wonderful views of a park across the street.

Incredible location! The house was bandbox clean (extremely important for my husband who was an travel virgin), check in was a breeze. Definitely run by professionals. The mattresses were exceptionally comfortable. The bedrooms were separated enough that we certainly weren't on top of each other and the common rooms were pleasant and sunlight. Would definitely stay here again.
